How to Recycle in Residence Halls

All Fredericksburg campus recycling  is now SINGLE STREAM! Materials collected remain the same but they do not need to be separated.

Rules to remember:

- Residents are responsible for taking bagged recycling from their rooms to the Toters located outside their Residence Hall. Recycling will not be collected in central containers in the hallways.

- All recycling must be bagged and tied before it is put in the larger Toters located outside each residence hall. Any plastic bag will work: Giant, Target, Food Lion, Walmart etc.

- Contaminated recycling is just LANDFILL WASTE. Do not recycle: plastic dinnerware, wax coated or styro (#6) drink/coffee, wet paper, tissues and napkins, lightbulbs, cookware or drinking glasses cups, or coat hangers.
